This can be anything from celebrating a new life, a graduation, or just a time when the whole family is together. The true value of a photograph is not understood when the photo is taken. The value is realized when the moment has passed the photo can no longer be taken.

Family portrait sessions are a wonderful way to document a particular moment in time for the family. This can be anything from a special get together with all of the extended family, to the yearly session done in pursuit of a new Christmas card. Each and every family session is planned with locations and timing suggestions to help create the best portraits possible.

Individual portrait sessions are wonderful to help celebrate a standout moment in life… This can be anything from a newborn baby, yearly photos of the kids, or senior photos at graduation. Let’s capture some of the highlights of each new chapter of life…
Lifestyle Sessions
When the end goal isn’t to just get a pretty picture, but to instead tell a story… Instead of planning for the perfect portrait, let’s document an activity. It can be anything from reading, riding a bike, or playing in the water. Lifestyle sessions are great for when you want to photograph an experience. Some of our favorite photos over the years are not always the ones when everybody is smiling and looking at the camera…

CLP Portraits is based out of Decatur, Georgia and serves all of the metro Atlanta area. We’ve been capturing memories for various families for over 20 years and would love to help you create lasting visual memories that can be pasted down and shared.
